Privacy Policy — EyeNav

Last updated: 3 September 2026

EyeNav is a hands-free phone control app developed by Nascorium. It lets you move a pointer, click, and scroll using head and face movement, so you can operate your phone without touching it.

This policy explains what EyeNav does with your information. The short version: EyeNav has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Almost everything stays on your phone.

Camera

EyeNav uses your front camera to track the position of your face and eyes, so it can move the pointer where you are looking.

  • Camera images are analysed on your device and discarded immediately.
  • No photo or video is ever recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.
  • What EyeNav keeps from the camera is a small set of numbers describing how your face moves — your calibration — stored only on your phone.
  • The camera is used only while tracking is running. It is released when you stop tracking, when your screen turns off, and while the app is hibernating.

Accessibility Service

EyeNav uses Android's Accessibility Service to click buttons, scroll, and press Back or Home on your behalf. This requires permission to see what is on your screen.

  • Screen content is read only to find the control under your pointer, and only while tracking is running.
  • Screen content never leaves your device, is never saved, and is never kept as a history.
  • EyeNav can see which app is in front, so it can apply the settings you chose for that app. App names never leave your device. Only apps you explicitly add a profile for are stored, and only on your phone.
  • You can switch this behaviour off entirely in Advanced Controls.

Microphone and dictation (optional)

If you use voice dictation, EyeNav records audio only while you have started dictation.

Please read this part carefully. EyeNav passes your speech to the speech-recognition service built into your device — on most phones, Google's. That service, not EyeNav, converts your speech to text, and it may send the audio to its provider's servers to do so. That processing is governed by your device provider's privacy policy, not this one.

EyeNav itself does not record, store, or transmit your audio, and does not keep the resulting text after it has been typed. The microphone is never used unless you start dictation, and dictation is off by default.

Purchases

EyeNav offers a one-time Pro unlock, sold through Google Play.

  • Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. EyeNav never sees your card details, name, or address.
  • EyeNav stores only a local flag recording that a purchase exists.
  • Your purchase is tied to your Google account, so it can be restored on another device.

Data stored on your device

EyeNav stores your settings, calibration, saved postures, per-app profiles, and purchase status locally. Uninstalling EyeNav deletes all of it.

If Android Backup is enabled on your phone, Android may copy this data to your own Google Drive as part of its standard app backup. That copy is under your control through your Google account, and EyeNav has no access to it.

What EyeNav does not do

  • No user accounts and no sign-in
  • No analytics, tracking, or advertising
  • No selling or sharing of personal data with anyone
  • No collection of your name, email, contacts, location, or browsing
  • No servers operated by Nascorium — there is nowhere for your data to be sent

The app requests internet access solely so Google Play can verify purchases.

Children

EyeNav is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Because EyeNav holds no data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf. You are in full control:

  • Uninstalling removes all local data.
  • Camera, microphone and accessibility permissions can be revoked at any time in Android Settings.
  • Backups can be managed in your Google account.

Under the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD, all processing described here happens locally on your device under your control.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
